Artist Statement

My artistic journey is driven by a passion for transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary. Through vibrant colours and bold, expressive mark-making, my artworks aim to capture movement, energy, and emotion, creating work that invites a deeper connection to feeling and form. I am particularly drawn to the female figure, exploring its emotional depth and layered narratives. At the same time, I find inspiration and curiosity in everyday objects and nature. Blending traditional and digital techniques, my practice remains fluid, allowing for continuous exploration and discovery. After a 15-year break from art, I am now focused on refining my use of colour, technique, and expression. My work is evolving, embracing multiple methods and perspectives as I develop new ways of seeing and interpreting new concepts in my surroundings.
